About the Southeast Gold Prospecting Expo

Get ready to strike it rich at the first annual Southeast Gold Prospectors Expo, happening May 14-16, 2027 at LDMA Vein Mountain Camp, North Carolina.

The Southeast Gold Prospectors Expo will feature prospecting vendors, live demonstrations, guest speakers, gold panning, a kid’s area, and much more! Whether you’re an experienced prospector, a weekend gold hunter, or have never held a gold pan before, there will be something for everyone to discover and enjoy.

Meet fellow prospectors, learn new techniques, check out the latest prospecting equipment, hear from knowledgeable speakers, and try your hand at gold panning. Families are encouraged to attend, with activities designed to introduce the next generation to the fun and history of searching for gold.
